Ingredients
- 1½ cups jasmine rice
- 3 cups boiling water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil
- ½ tablespoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375F. Rinse 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice, place in an 8x8 baking dish set on a baking sheet. Pour in 3 cups boiling water. Add 2 teaspoons unsalted butter or olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cover tightly with foil and bake 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. This recipe is easily doubled, just use a 9x13 pan.
