Pasta with Clams ๐
This is one of @ryanbiegel favorite meals that I make. I use canned clams, so itโs super easy, inexpensive, and we always have them in our pantry. Youโll see it only took me 11 minutes start to finish ๐#nocarbleftbehind
Pasta with Clams

Total time: 11 min
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti or linguine
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- Pinch of crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, with liquid
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/3 cup toasted breadcrumbs (a little olive oil, garlic powder and salt)
Cooking Directions
- In a large skillet, heat garlic and olive oil on low for a few minutes. Add red pepper. Stir in wine and clams, bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
- Use tongs to take pasta out of water and directly into pan (best when pasta is a couple minutes away from being done... you want it really al dente so it finishes cooking in the sauce). Use tongs to toss.
- Add in parsley and drizzle with more olive oil. Toss until coated in sauce and pasta is tender. Serve with breadcrumbs sprinkled on top.
